The commission for the development of the new Caffa Bistro location in Bogotá, Colombia, posed a challenge where the brand's values had to be translated into an architectural design that would captivate its customers through a high-quality coffee aesthetic experience. The main challenge of the project was to adapt the brand manual to create architectural guidelines that would allow the company's expansion plan to materialize while providing a unique experience at each service point. These places host tastings for businesses, business meetings, collaborative work, and live music sessions for diners' enjoyment.


The inspiration for the architectural design drew from typical aspects of Colombian coffee culture, blending them with concepts from the "speakeasy" model, popular in cafes worldwide and in coworking spaces for business meetings for the brand's consumers.


Throughout the project's development, it was crucial to interact with the client, secure the commitment of suppliers, maintain appropriate follow-up, and pay special attention to detail by the design and construction team. Thanks to these efforts, the venue was successfully delivered and operational within the initially planned 4-month timeframe, adhering to the agreed-upon budget.
