Adapting schools built in the mid-20th century offers great opportunities as educational models continue to evolve. We designed a Master Campus Plan for Brooklyn Prospect Charter School in 2012, which was moving into a former parochial elementary school. Later that year, we completed state-of-the-art classrooms, renovated the gymnasium, added an outdoor eating area, and created a new library. New science labs and a dance studio were added in 2013. Our most recent project in 2014 included a new black box theater and converting part of the existing convent on the 4th Floor into classrooms and administrative spaces.
