Four new homes on a backland site opposite Bounds Green Underground Station.
We have been commissioned to design a new mews development on a backland site near Bounds Green, which is enclosed on all sides. Our proposal involves the creation of four family houses. The stepped terrace arrangement and L shape plan allows each house to have multiple outlooks and helps to define the generous front and back garden spaces.
Handmade red bricks, oak windows and cladding are used, together with stonework, to tie the terrace together. The siting of the homes, the use of materials and the garden spaces transform an empty brownfield site into a new mews housing community.
