The garden level of this townhouse had too many walls and small rooms. We opened it up from front to back and replaced the structural wall with steel beams. The joists were exposed and cleaned with the ceiling dropped in between them just low enough to allow for small recessed lights. The front guest room has two pocketing doors so that it can be open to the rest of the floor most of the time when there is no guest in town.
