Between the Walls presents its new project, Big Time Sensuality — a contemporary 250 m² home with terraces, nestled in the forest of Irpin. Designed for a family seeking harmony, comfort, and a deep connection with nature, the house is envisioned as a long-term home where inspiration can be found in every corner.
The architectural concept focuses on openness and seamless spatial flow. The ground floor includes an entrance hall, guest bathroom, wardrobe, two utility rooms, a study, and an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area — perfect for family gatherings, cooking, and entertaining. The upper floor is dedicated to privacy, featuring a master bedroom with a walk-in closet and en-suite, two unisex children’s rooms, a kids’ bathroom, and a spacious terrace for relaxation.
Terraces are a key feature of the project. The first-floor terrace offers an outdoor kitchen, dining area, and fire pit for socializing, while the second-floor terrace features a lounge zone with daybeds, ideal for unwinding in nature.
Natural materials — wood, stone, microcement, and soft textiles — emphasize harmony with the surroundings, while tactile contrasts add depth and uniqueness to each space. The forest setting inspired a design that minimizes landscape disruption.
Commissioned by a couple of IT professionals working mostly from home, the project includes a shared study with tailored workspaces, as well as flexible children’s rooms that can adapt to different ages. The open kitchen-living area, with a bar counter and access to the summer terrace, serves as the home’s vibrant heart, accommodating everything from intimate family moments to lively celebrations.
Big Time Sensuality is a place where every detail is intentional, nature becomes part of daily life, and the harmony of materials and space creates the ultimate luxury for modern family living.
