Caramel developed 51 adaptable working environments for a fashion label in Germany and immediately implemented them in a simple but innovative design. He contrast between the high-tech and the highly developed materials and technologies of the articles contrasts with the imaginative low-tech in materiality and the “making of” of the working worlds, which seem to inspire the coolness and creativity of the employees.
Process:
* the new user requirements were developed together with the planning team using questionnaires, individual interviews and several design thinking workshops. The new room elements can be re-used at a later date and some can be rearranged yourself
* Sustainable structure that can be adapted to the building without being converted
Program> Playground:
* all new elements are made of natural or recycled materials, the surface of which can be individually adapted (pin it, peg it, draw on, put your magnets on - leave your traces) and some of which can be remodeled yourself
* actual sustainability during the renovation by reusing the existing furniture and glass walls
* all workplaces have a window seat
* 300 instead of 50 as before meeting opportunities
