The new residential building in Zieglergasse with a usable living space of 1,646 m² divided into 28 apartments on 8 floors is located in the heart of Vienna's 7th district.
In the course of the demolition of the existing building, the plot area will be minimized. In order to make optimum use of this 287 m² buildable area, a clear system was agreed and an attempt was made to make the core of the residential building as compact and comfortable as possible and to design the apartment floor plans in a functional way.
Great importance was attached to the mix of apartments in the new residential building in order to reflect the spirit of the times and meet the needs of future users. It was therefore particularly important to create a standard floor that would enable well-designed B-type apartments and offer tenants high-quality living comfort.
The apartments on the courtyard side all have an outdoor area in the form of loggias or terraces, while on the street side, generous glazing was used in line with the neighboring building to give users the feeling of being connected to the outdoors.
In addition, the ceiling bands accentuated on the street and courtyard sides act as an architectural design element. These elegant ceiling bands are further enhanced by a modern, perfectly color-coordinated Argeton facade, which is attractive for decades due to its high quality and eternally modern due to its simplicity. The new residential building therefore blends in wonderfully with the attractive Zieglergasse ensemble.
