A design project for a beauty salon was implemented by the interior design studio Vilchinskaya Design Bureau in 2020 in a new building with an area of 120 sq. m.
One of the customer's requirements was a style solution in a combination of white and pink metal. Since the front windows are facing north and the room lacked sunlight, the studio decided to make the most of light nude shades, reflective surfaces and add contrast with bright furniture. For this, a pale blue color and brushed copper were chosen. The rounded forms of furniture and milling helped to make the interior soft and delicate.
At the reception, guests are greeted by a counter made of white textile panel with pintucks and a table top made of matt metallized copper MDF. Behind it is a panel woven using the macrame technique - an interpretation of women's braids. The craftsman made it by hand for this interior.
After moving the technical rooms to a dark corner, many doors formed in the visiting area. To hide them and dissolve in the interior, the entire space above them was combined - white fragmentary plaster moldings.
Opposite the entrance to the salon, there is a composition of matte and ordinary mirrors, the rhythm is emphasized by brass and copper inserts. The same technique was used in the panel in the manicure area, only some matte areas were illuminated from the inside.
In the area of hairdressers, the same techniques are used as throughout the interior - white plaster, rhythm, non-ferrous metal and cleanliness. This part turned out to be so collected and balanced that it does not require decor.
The chairs for the zone were ordered by the specialized Italian brand Maletti. The legs for the countertop were mounted from plasterboard and faced with porcelain stoneware. A little more decor and colors were added to the pedicure area to combine the time during the procedure with the possibility of beautiful selfies.
Purity, texture, reflections and rhythm - what is read in the interior and serves as a guarantee of an enveloping atmosphere.
