Chapman Taylor has transformed Bar.Yard, the award-winning rooftop bar on the 40th floor of Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, with a vibrant new interior that captures the energy, warmth and nightlife of Bangkok.
Developed in close collaboration with the client and aligned with the IHG brand vision, the redesign introduces a more flexible spatial layout that seamlessly accommodates both relaxed social gatherings and lively evening events. The refreshed interior is defined by a bold visual identity inspired by Thai culture, featuring expressive motifs such as the Hornbill, Bird of Paradise, Serpent and Sun, combined with a vivid colour palette that celebrates the city's tropical character.
Carefully integrated lighting, furniture and spatial zoning enhance comfort, adaptability and atmosphere, ensuring the rooftop remains an engaging destination throughout the day and night.
Located within Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok beside Lumphini Park, the project reinforces the hotel's reputation for contemporary hospitality while establishing Bar.Yard as an immersive rooftop experience that celebrates the distinctive spirit of Bangkok.
