A sober and simple barn house and a simple roof supported by oak beams, have been the starting point of the design. The layout of the plan is specific to the location and the needs of the client: a glass partition connects the living room with the porch and the surrounding countryside. At the front a deepened kitchen which is connected to the terrace and yard. Above the kitchen a bedroom and bathroom. The facades are made of beautiful Danish bricks, the roof is made of patinated zinc and de windows have steel frames; honest and durable materials. A solar water heater and solar panels combined with low-temperature heating and high insulation make sure the house is ready for the future.
