A Rural House – Echoes of the Countryside in a New Home
Inspired by the landscape of the Vietnamese countryside, the house is composed of several small volumes gently arranged beneath the canopy of long-standing trees, creating a living environment that feels intimate and closely connected to nature.
The spaces between these volumes become courtyards, verandas, and small gardens—places where natural light, breezes, and daily life meet in an effortless way.
While the architecture expresses a contemporary form, it still preserves the emotional essence of rural life. The house is designed as a place where multiple generations of the family can return and gather, much like a peaceful retreat within memories of childhood.
It is a new living space that carries the spirit of the old countryside—comfortable, familiar, and attuned to the lifestyle of Vietnamese families.
