Aykon City is a new 6.5 million sq.ft. (600,000 SM) mixed-use development on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai. The four tower project includes residential, hotel, and office space atop a podium of parking and shared amenities.
Designed for DAMAC, the towers are sculpted to flow with one another, using wrapping planes and layered forms to create a dynamic sense of graceful movement even as they maintain their individual proportions and identities. Tower A will consist of the 5-star AYKON branded Hotel & Serviced Residences, while Tower B the DAMAC Maison Hotel & Hotel Apartments. Tower C will be entirely residential and Tower D entirely office.
The relatively smaller purely residential towers were pushed away from the main road, creating a more intimate and private setting. The two taller towers were sited to create two distinctive and iconic structures along Shaikh Zayed Road, holding both corners and creating a highly visible statement to travelers. The Aykon Hotel tower will be topped with a sky lounge with panoramic views, while the office tower will feature “Aykon Dare” – an unforgettable experience situated at the crown of the tallest tower. Accessible from the 79th floor lounge and dining room, guests can walk out onto the landing platform where they’ll be harnessed into a safety line and able to walk out onto the roofline of the upper level.
