Avishan villa is an intimate residency to sustain owners’ reminiscences in the cool countryside near Tehran
Inspired by the lifestyle of the residents, the focus of design and execution is on creating an intimate space which, at the same time, is efficient. The building includes two residential stories. The first floor is used as the owner’s permanent residence and the ground floor is occasionally used on weekends. Following the 2012 economic crisis, the design had to be carried out based on a limited budget. Also, in order to prevent the loss of the existing green space, the new villa replaced the old one in order not to occupy more extra space. Moreover, the swimming pool is attached to the building creating an axis that functions as the central core of the building. Also, openings are designed to connect the interior to the surrounding landscape by making the most possible view.
