Project for a club house in the residential development Aventus in Cuernavaca, Morelos in México. The proposal seeks to create a division based on the distinction of the public and the private spaces. On the ground floor, the public program is located completely visible across transparent facades which create a connection between spaces. The program contains a play center, an adult’s room and a double height salon that connects all the spaces. On the upper level the spa and gym are located giving them more privacy. Surrounding this level is an almost camera obscura made from fluted bricks resting above slim concrete columns, conceptualizing the relationship between positive & negative, generating the privacy required for each space.
