As an ever growing team, AuthX had outgrown their accommodations in the West End of Richmond and was ready to seek a new home that could would enable greater collaboration and inspire their workers each day. As a digital marketing consulting company, their young demographic of employees appreciate the industrial warehouse vibe that can be found in the Manchester district. Working with a historic tax credit consultant, we helped convert the warehouse to office space, showcasing the original wood columns and planked ceiling.
To facilitate collaboration and impromptu conversations, we created a work/lounge meeting hub as the heart of the office. This included an open bar table with connectivity to TVs along a shared meeting wall, a café and kitchen space, and a lounge zone. A variety of other team meeting and lounge spaces are located along the perimeter walls to accommodate individual department meetings. Each enclosed huddle room is themed to represent AuthX’s major markets. AuthX is very cognizant of what attracts employees and included sit to stand desking and large, fully stocked display refrigerators for employees to use free of charge, making this a comfortable space where employees know they are appreciated.
