STATUS

YEAR
2011
SIZE
3000 sqft - 5000 sqft
As part of the Higher Education Modernization Programme (HMoP) Gerber Architekten plan a new four-storey lecture hall and seminar building on the south campus of the University Paderborn.
In the future students have the opportunity to study in four lecture halls and three seminar rooms with 400 seats. By using the natural terrain topography a staircase extends from the inside out and forms two foyer levels. In every level an open staircase and bridges combine lecture and seminar tract.
The upper level is available for exhibitions and events; the lower level is arranged for all other rooms.
