The design of this large penthouse, located in CityLife district in Milan, had a precise focus from the first meeting with the client, an entrepreneur friend, who expressed the desire to create a comfortable home capable of enhancing the conviviality and quality of time in his family. The project therefore concentrated on creating environments that are interconnected and usable with each other, through the creation of an open and bright layout in the living area, and that is in balance between visual permeability and attention to the needs of the individual functions that take place in each environment. The attention paid to the lighting design, combined with home automation, has therefore played a central role in providing the different environments with multiple scenarios capable of enhancing the different moments of life, modulating the intensity of the light up to a soft night lighting that accompanies the end of the day. The end result is a modern and comfortable space, deliberately uniform in the material and chromatic choices recurring in all the rooms of the house, made up of a few light and neutral tones, and a warm and welcoming oak parquet floor. The satisfaction of those who live in the house and the creation of an environment that reflects and qualifies their lifestyle and needs represent our best gratification at the end of the project.
