The complete renovation of 900 North Michigan’s retail environment was not complete until the unveiling of Aster Hall. Even though the six floors beneath had undergone a significant overhaul of its overall look and feel, the capstone of the project was the elegant, high-tech food hall perched at the top.
Working with Hogsalt owner and restaurateur Brendan Sodikoff, Aster Hall allows customers to use kiosks to create a custom order from its many different cuisines. Throughout the space are many comfortable and elegant seating options, as well as an interconnecting stair that joins the food hall below with lounge and bar space above.
The new concept activated what used to be an underused hospitality space, which despite its dramatic circular light fixture, felt dimly lit and too quiet.
