Global advertising agency, Arnold Worldwide, a member of the Havas Creative Group, recently evolved from a traditional private office space to an open and collaborate environment. Moving to a new space can signify many things: a new start, new look and the opportunity to create and redevelop the firm’s way of creating. Arnold’s new 31,000 square foot space exemplifies these ideas and the agency’s vibrant culture. The new office features benched workstations, allowing Arnold staff to embrace the open floor plan. Additionally, rather than enclosing staff in conference spaces, all meeting spaces within the agency are inviting and casual. These informal meeting spaces feature upholstered couches, ottomans and space for creative discussion through tactile media such as tackable surfaces and whiteboard painted walls. Each of the seven meeting spaces and team rooms are enabled with semi-wireless technology including networked video allowing staff to broadcast presentations throughout the building, while also providing internal video signals. Providing access to the most up-to-date technology supports sharing vision and creative ideas amongst Arnold staff. The café/pantry features a bold orange wall cover with hooks to store cups, a ‘kegerator’ with beer on tap, and 104 feet of wall arced with 120 degrees of viewing space with two flat screen displays and a drop-down projection screen, allowing the space to transform into a ‘town hall’ for meetings and events. The blend of high and low ensures the creative staff at Arnold can share their ideas and inspirations through any format. Additional features in the Arnold space include an edit room and a studio/print room.
