First launched in Mars 1978, this underwater shelter is a decompression chamber for professional divers and a mini scientific observatory. It consists of a methacrylate sphere maintained by an aluminum framework linked to the technical block. The Aquabulle is situated between 0 and 60 meters. 2,8 meters high and 2,5 meters in diameter, due to its constant air reserve it can host three people for several hours. Very easy to construct and to move, the Aquabulle is also a perfect underwater refugee for subaquatic tourists, especially for children who have often taken part in Jacques Rougerie’s experimentations.
