The apartment is located on rue Etienne Marcel in Paris, a wealthy 18 century building: a chic neighborhood for a radical renovation. It has been designed as a single room without the doors or separations typical of such a living space. A large “revolving screen” and a “wooden cube” demarcate spaces and create privacy.
Beautiful volumes, a full row of windows that create a magnificent view, furniture custom-made for the apartment. The materials were carefully chosen to brighten the space: wood and terrazzo give a sense of unity to the whole, and accompany the Parisian sandstone that has been stripped bare. Here, nestled in the heart of Paris, close to the Place des Victoires, it’s a space-time story.
