The design of the apartment in the northern suburb of Athens, aims to create an aesthetically pleasing space to accommodate and enhance the lifestyle needs of its owners. Curved surfaces and warm tones offer a welcoming atmosphere, offering a balance between strict minimalism and homeliness. The architectural design approaches the interior as a sculptural entity, with curved geometries defining forms and functions of the house. Evenly textured finishes, applied on the walls, floor and ceiling, create an optical illusion, where surfaces fade in each other in a consistent architectural atmosphere. The lack of decorative elements promotes a setting where simplicity prevails, and space praises purity and serenity. The same concept runs throughout all areas of the house, thus creating a unified experience of fluid surfaces, rich textures, and a soft color palette. The living room, kitchen and dining room develop in an open plan spatial unit, while the private spaces of the house, bedrooms, bathrooms etc. are situated in a distinct section of house. The outdoor living space reflects the same conceptual guidelines. Thanks to the large openings, the balcony provides a unique living space and beautiful view of the surroundings.
