Angel Islington apartments
Satish Jassal Architects have been appointed to convert a former clinic into an apartment building consisting of six two-bedroom apartments. The site is located in close vicinity of Islington Green, in a vibrant part of Islington.
An additional four floors have been added to the existing building. The building was designed with careful consideration of key views around the area to minimise the impact on Islington’s Angel conservation area.
The design consists of a vertical reducing piers rising up the on all sides of the building. The openings between the piers are filled with oak framed windows, doors, ventilation boxes and balconets.
