The vision of Al Baleed Resort was to create a leading 5-Star luxury resort which references local Omani Architecture. It is complemented by lush, tropical landscaping, abundant water features, a resort hotel, serviced and non-serviced apartments, luxury villas, boutique retail, high quality international cuisine and a health and wellness spa.

The design was sensitive to the significant archaeological context of the area whilst taking into consideration the local environmental and climatic conditions. The best qualities of local building and cultural traditions were integrated into the development whilst enhancing the quality of accommodation, hospitality and luxury amenities in the region and demonstrates leading environmentally sustainable design as a model for future developments in the region.
