The facility was designed for Altınsar Textile, a company that produces carpets for domestic and international markets. The company's rapidly expanding needs and dynamic, contemporary structure were considered key parameters in the design process. In addition to the primary functions of the facility buildings, the aim was to reflect the company's corporate identity in the design by outwardly expressing these parameters. In the first phase, the location of the site in relation to the İzmir/Ankara highway, the Uşak/Gediz road, and existing or planned industrial zone axes, as well as potential growth directions and the production operation of the facility, were analyzed. Accordingly, three independent production buildings were planned on a total area of 110,000 m2. The facility entrance, defined by an entrance arch with a steel load-bearing system, is positioned on the north side of the site, taking into account the site elevations and the relatively busy Uşak/Gediz road. The administrative building encountered upon passing through the entrance arch was designed to be integrated with the main mass, considering both the general architectural style and functional purposes. Thanks to the mass extending into the factory building, the connection between the main circulation axis and the two different production areas is strengthened. The two-story administrative building serves as the location for the management offices. The social facilities building is located along the main axis, with consideration given to the entrance, high-production zones, and employee circulation. The social facilities building includes staff changing and rest areas, a canteen, and design offices. Despite the functional constraints of the factory building, its linear form and spatial organization have inspired a distinctive architectural approach in the social facilities building. The minimalist facade design is reinforced with a dynamic mass. The steel roof, supported by the two-story reinforced concrete structure, utilizes standing seam cladding, while the building facade is covered with composite panels. The factory buildings, which have already been constructed, have a total enclosed area of 35,000 m2 (Block A) and 25,000 m2 (Block B). The buildings were constructed using a prefabricated reinforced concrete system. The system was chosen because it allowed for the necessary openings and its manufacturing speed was fast. The use of materials and color tones employed in the social facilities and entrance buildings has been extended in limited amounts to the facades of the factory buildings, aiming to achieve overall architectural unity.
