Shape and topography of the plot strongly determined the initial decision to design a longitudinal building along the northern front. The maximum possible free space is opened up towards south so that lecture rooms and main activity areas linked to teaching zones will be illuminated. Offices and social areas are linked to the northern and eastern ambits which connect with public access. Furthermore a free space will be kept in the eastern area which permits a program of sport areas. The particular conditions related to the design of a Special Education Center clearly establish a development of the teaching unit in one single level, the ground floor, while the administrative units can be arranged on the first floor with restricted access.
