Agarani Estate is another landmark hospitality project by Spectrum Architecture - located in the heart of Kakheti, Georgia’s famous wine region. The project has been developed in collaboration with Art Studio LLC. Spectrum Architecture contributed to the interior design, façade, and construction management. The concept represents a seamless blend of cultural authenticity and contemporary comfort.
Agarani Estate is situated in Ruispiri village – a renowned place for its breathtaking panoramic views of the Caucasus Mountains and is surrounded by unique natural landscapes. The setting, combined with culturally infused architecture and interiors, transforms the estate into a distinctive retreat for those seeking an authentic Georgian experience.
The estate spans a total of 3,627 square meters, including 2,700 square meters of built-up area, which comprise 54 guest rooms, a welcoming lobby, lounge, library, and restaurant along with two fireplaces. On top of that, the estate has two fully equipped meeting rooms for organizing high-level events and meetings, and the terrace, which offers panoramic views of Caucasus. The estate boasts an adult pool, which harmoniously incorporates into the hotel design.
Architecturally, the building draws inspiration from the medieval character of the Kakheti region - once a significant cultural and political center of Georgia. Its exterior design reflects the timeless use of stone, brick, clay, and wood, materials that have long defined Kakheti’s architectural language and embody the enduring values of Georgian craftsmanship.
The interior design takes cues from the ancestral Georgian home. Traditional ornaments and motifs are reinterpreted through furniture detailing, rugs, and light-toned walls, while brick- and stone-clad columns reinforce a tangible connection to the region’s culture. This thoughtful composition of textures and elements not only evokes a sense of heritage but also introduces international guests to the essence of Georgian culture and hospitality.
