The layout is pentagon-shaped to allow the maximum of space for its tenants and to fully use the property. The facade is angular. Therefore three almost same sized levels were created. This was important to the landlord. On the top you find a spacious terrace which allows a breathe-taking view over the Weinviertel (wine quarter) to Vienna. The terrace wasn't requested by the client it was actually an offer from the architects. It is now used for special occasions such as events, readings, etc. The graphical layout of the facade plays with the perception: fictional edges disguise the basic form of the monolith which has been designed by Lichtwitz-Leinfellner. Hand-written quotes regarding dwelling decorate the inside-walls of the building throughout all levels. The ACW office building was created for companies that are located in the field of residential services. The landlord only took 60 sqm for private usage.
