The Project starts with a preexistence: the client owns 2 prefabricated geodesic domes from the beginning. This, in addition to the high temperatures during the summer season in Lampa, shows the following problems: there is not enough available area to fulfill the required program, high solar radiation in the summer season and serious problems of habitability product of the geometry of the domes. The solving element is the socle, which by making the volume higher allows to multiply the useful area of the floor, generates shadings that protects from the solar radiation in summer and ensure higher levels of habitability.
