The building presents itself as a volume with rational geometric shapes, characterised on the first floor by a monolith covered entirely with marble slabs and on the ground floor by the presence of large windows enhanced by brass profiles, which allow a strong visual relationship with the generous park, perceiving it and the entrance garden in their entirety.
The house guarantees the right amount of privacy, thanks to a concrete fence that surrounds it, intended as a curtain opening onto the art garden, where sculptures and art installations are carefully chosen and displayed.
For this architectural element, a special matrix enriches the material itself with a particular pattern reminiscent of stage fabrics.
Despite the fact that the ground floor is completely glazed, the large porch facing the south side and the canopies along the remaining perimeter, help to maintain the indoor comfort and shade the outdoor areas near the building, creating outdoor spaces suitable for entertaining guests even during the summer months.
The first floor hosts the sleeping area with three bedrooms and an en-suite bathroom while the ground floor houses the living area conceived as a large space for conviviality, presenting living and kitchen in a single open space. The two floors are connected by a sculptural staircase in perforated metal, a choice that allows light to be brought from the roof skylight to the basement.
The building conformation enables, where appropriate, direct communication of the interior spaces with the outside, permitting expansion of the space both physically, through the portico, and visually, through the large windows.
Care and attention has been paid to the choice of materials, where the exposed concrete of structures and ceilings is pleasantly contrasted by marble and wood with different textures and shades used for the various furnishing elements.
The interior floors are made of Venetian terrazzo while the exterior is made of washed concrete.
