This project was an exercise in exploring the potential of villa design on sloping terrains.
In addressing the architectural relationship with the land's topography, the floor, roof, and one lateral face were conceived as open elements. The constituent spaces of the house were then distributed across the three remaining lateral faces in a three-dimensional manner.
This approach results in a dynamic volume that surrounds a central void. The volume is composed of a spectrum of spaces, ranging from open to enclosed, each with distinct orientations, and imbued with unique atmospheres through the interplay of light and shadow.
