URBAN POWER is an innovative architectural practice that develops holistic solutions within architecture, public space and urban planning. We focus on a close dialogue with the client, the users, the citizens and the authorities in an open process where opportunities and parameters are examined to find the solutions that give the greatest value to everyone. Functionality, urban life, economy, flexibility, robustness, climatic- and the environmental issues are key elements of the process, where solutions are tested and evaluated.
Sustainable solutions are integrated parts of the mind set of our mind set. We navigates towards sustainability using the national DGNB standard, with the competencies for certification at the building level. In the development of our urban projects climate adaptation, biodiversity, social interaction, safety, green mobility and urban life are natural aspects of the process.
This approach is evident in the distinctive buildings, urban plans and public spaces that URBAN POWER has developed the recent years. These include the International Peoples College in Helsingør, Genforeningsparken in Aabenraa, the new town hall square in Ski (Norway) and the vision for Holmene - Scandinavia's largest and most sustainable business area.
