SUPERPOOL - International Multidisciplinary Design Studio based in Istanbul.
In 2012, the practice was one of the five architectural offices that were selected to develop a vision on future urban mobility for the Audi Urban Future Award 2012, an international architecture competition that focuses on specific mobility scenarios in major metropolitan regions. In addition, they have completed Mapping Istanbul, a book commissioned by Garanti Gallery with nearly a hundred maps and information graphics creating a valuable resource for architects, planners, and policy-makers involved in developing the city's future. Currently, they are engaged in TailorCrete, a European Commission funded research for incorporating robotics into concrete construction technology as well a contribution to MoMA ’s “Uneven Growth, Tactical Urbanisms for Expanding Megacities” exhibition curated by Pedro Gadanho. The exhibition is opening November 2014. Most recently the duo has taken on directing Studio-X Istanbul, which is part of the global network of “urban laboratories” founded by Columbia University.
