‘The more local, the more universal’ Fernando Tavora, architect.
studio.AQUI uses the design and construction of built spaces to question our relationship with the land. Since architecture is an expression of culture, we advocate a contextual approach in the face of ongoing standardisation. This anchorage aims to define architecture as a societal asset, to be promoted and defended.
Our aim is to produce simple architecture, free from artifice and the spectacular, and to focus on the essential. Through this simplification, we aim to master the process so as to rediscover a simple relationship with construction within the dual historical logic of aesthetics and economics.
Our modest aim is to respond to the social and environmental challenges of our time.
