Our projects are always guided by a strong sense of contextualisation that examines each situation within its own location, peculiarity, climate and cultural definitions.
As architects and designers we want to increase awareness of, and sensitivity to,the use of what we call the formal language of shapes and spaces featured prominently in our designs.
Our philosophy
Shapes and forms convey specific meanings that become part of our subconscious understanding of the visual world.
Our proposals are always driven by a concept that combines all the planning constrains with the use of shapes and forms that the engaged present and future generations recognize, can feel comfortable with and adopt as their own. We always design from the roots upwards creating novel forms.
Our desire is to generate a sense of belonging to a community allowing for a simple emotional seed to grow for an instant, for a season or even forever.
Our Approach
The use of computer-aided design to explore new shapes and forms and algorithms and rule-based techniques to deal with the vast amounts of constantly varying parameters and information, still remains partially external to the core of our personal design process that relies on traditional means like sketching and imaging the sensations that a certain space can or should arouse.
Seeding Office’s novel forms embrace a strong sense of contextualization that delivers always a different formal language of shapes and spaces in each project.
They are driven in different ways by the desire to create an “indeterminate” design; one that will be completed by time and engagement of the people with the space, that will enhance encounters, provoke real affection to the place and create special memories.
