RESERVOIR A – Presentation
RESERVOIR A is an architecture, urban planning, and landscape design office operating in Wallonia and Brussels. With nearly twenty years of experience, the firm has developed a solid understanding of the specificities related to project development in the Walloon region.
Today, the office includes around thirty people, including five partners (Julien Dailly, Cédrick Lodewickx, Maguy Malengrez, Noémie Navarro, and Margaux Darras), six project managers (architects), nine architects, one urban planning project manager, one landscape project manager and a landscape architect, one BIM specialist, and an administrative team. The firm thus brings together all the disciplines involved in spatial, sensitive, and technical project development—such as yours.
Specialized in public sector projects of all scales, RESERVOIR A has acquired particular expertise in this specific field. This has allowed the office to accumulate project references in almost every area of construction: furniture design, administrative, educational, cultural or sports facilities, hospitals, hospitality or commercial buildings, office buildings, industrial or logistical facilities, art integration, interior design, housing, infrastructure (parking, roads, public spaces, landscaping), swimming pools, energy renovations, performance venues, and urban planning studies.
Its involvement in projects such as the social housing complex of La Docherie in Charleroi, the extension of the Madeleine Hospital in Ath, the renovation and extension of the cultural and sports center of Scailmont in Manage, the construction of the new fire station in Charleroi, the construction of the administrative center of Fosses-la-Ville (Espace Winson), the construction of the Viviers Health Campus (1,000-bed hospital) for GHDC in Charleroi, the demolition and reconstruction of the Godarville nursery and primary school in Chapelle-lez-Herlaimont, the renovation of the ADEPS center of l’Hydrion in Arlon (athletics, swimming, etc.), the construction of the new municipal swimming pool in Courcelles, the extension of the Aqualiby leisure pool in Wavre, the construction of the new headquarters of Sambrinvest (including coworking and hospitality areas), etc., etc., are clear proof of this.
RESERVOIR A’s vision for all its projects is to bring meaningful and positive change. Our mission is to provide simple architectural responses to complex and diverse questions, with the aim of sustainably improving our living environments and creating a sensitive experience for all.
Our values are integrity, ambition, cooperation, and diversity.
Integrity is at the core of all our actions and decisions. We place the trust of our clients, partners, and collaborators at the heart of our approach, ensuring we meet deadlines, budgets, and contractual commitments. As architects, we also believe integrity includes ethical and sustainable use of resources, and a deep respect for the heritage and communities for whom we design. Integrity also reflects our constant commitment to the fundamental principles of architecture, so that every project can be beautiful, useful, and lasting.
Our ambition is fueled by a desire for excellence and self-improvement—whether in design, technique, or the societal impact of our projects. Each project is an opportunity to aim higher, drawing on the passion and creativity of our team.
We also believe that the success of any project depends on harmonious cooperation among all stakeholders. Our office values teamwork not only internally but also with our clients, partners, contractors, and consultants. By creating an open and respectful dialogue, we build solutions that meet collective needs while valuing individual ideas. Cooperation is also a driver for interdisciplinary projects, where expertise converges to deliver unique and outstanding results.
Diversity is a source of richness that nourishes our creativity and adaptability. Within our office, it is reflected in openness to cultural, social, and professional differences, and in the active inclusion of varied perspectives. We draw inspiration from this diversity to design spaces that respond to the needs of a constantly evolving society. In our architectural practice, diversity is also a commitment to providing context-sensitive solutions that respect the identity and specificities of each project.
These four values interact and reinforce one another to shape a strong and coherent identity, guiding both our architectural approach and our relationships with all stakeholders.
