Radan Hubicka Architectural Studio (AARH) focuses on all areas of architectural and urban planning in all design stages, from conceptual studies up to project execution, including design supervision. The studio is especially renowned for its designs of residential buildings and luxury private residences. In 2005 AARH won a competition to build the CITY EPOQUE complex in Prague. This was a breakthrough moment in the studio’s history. A 4-star Sheraton hotel and luxury high-rise residential building, which is to be the tallest residential building in the Czech Republic, are currently under construction. AARH collaborates with the most significant developers and investment companies as well as the biggest construction firms in the CR. In addition, AARH works for the Czech Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The private, wealthy Czech clientele toward whom we are targeted is impressed by the ability of the studio to design generous spatial concepts, having unique details and material conception. AARH is well-known for its complex and synergic approach to architectural design, incorporating innovative planning methods and high-end technologies, with an emphasis on detail and perfect craftsmanship. The work of the studio has been published in many magazines and books, and has received many awards, including a nomination for the Mies van der Rohe Prize in 2007. R. Hubicka (1960) graduated from the Czech Technical University, Faculty of Architecture in 1985. He collaborated for several years with renowned Viennese architect B. Podrecca as co-designer. After returning from Vienna, he founded his own studio in 1995. Since that time, the studio has steadily increased in size, building up a competent team of architects. Peter Suda (1976) joined AARH in 2002. He became studio partner in 2009, with project leader and supervisory responsibilities.
