We are designers, makers, and thinkers. Our process reflects that. We are focused on the psychological impact of the things we make. We care about how they are made and how they will perform throughout time. How the materials and systems react to their surroundings – how they can impact our clients differently throughout their lives. In order to give the consideration to our designs that our clients deserve – we need to be able to look at many variables within many networks of relationships, in many timeframes. That is why we lean on our digital design tools – it allows us a level of precision while leaving the future open to infinite possibilities. Our process involves what we call a probabilistic design soluton set (a great deal of solutions and partial solutions in a non-linear development process, highly organized and represented to the client). This is compared to many other firms linear processes which magically manifest a single design solution that gets cut slashed and packed until it fits your program or budget. Our process is agile. But we are not just geeks with a desire to design. We are makers after all – each person in the studio has a background in making and constructing. We have full cababilities of wood, metal, glass, steel, ceramic, and textiles which we can push upon to achieve the results which fit your project. We iterate between our physical representations of projects (studies, models, prototypes, and mock-ups) nad our digital output. Please look at the work and see if this comes through.
