Peter Budeiri + Associates’ mission is to design buildings and spaces that work—beautifully. Its conviction is that architecture enhances our lives at home, at work, and at play.
Peter Budeiri + Associates is an award-winning architectural firm whose work has been exhibited in New York’s Center for Architecture and published in Architectural Digest, The New York Times, Newsday, Builder, and three books on home design. PB+A has designed projects throughout the New York tri-state area and across the U.S. for clients that have included foreign governments, large and small corporations, a public agency and not-for-profit institutions, real estate developers, and homeowners.
PB+A’s approach is to integrate architecture with lighting, landscape, graphics, furniture, and interior design, crafting a harmonious whole. On every project, the firm’s goal is to create and develop innovative design ideas that respond effectively to the opportunities and constraints arising from the client’s program, context, and budget.
As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, PB+A offers sustainable choices for its clients to consider, highlighting life-cycle cost differences. The firm designs energy-saving lighting retrofits and partners with engineering consultants to offer subsidized energy-efficient redesign and renovation. Peter and Simona Budeiri are LEED Accredited Professionals.
Starting in 1985, Peter Budeiri + Associates has developed extensive expertise in the restoration and reuse of older buildings and in designing historically appropriate alterations to landmark buildings.
