ONLY GREEN DESIGN is a group of people from several countries working collectively within the field of ecological design and education. We are based in Kosovo and New Mexico and have completed projects as well in Serbia and South Africa. OGD seeks to engage local communities in collaborative processes of observation, design and building.
Using available and upcycled materials, authentic and creative examples of ecological design are produced, informed by a sense of place and responsibility. Throughout this journey, an inquiry is initiated into how human development can not only be benign to the rest of nature, but beneficial to it! Basically, how can design drive rehabilitation?
Our practice is based on a shared humanity, collaboration and youth involvement. We believe the youth deserve our full attention, best work and effort to inspire and develop holistic ways of seeing and co-existing which will leave this place better than it was found.
