Tia-Thuy Nguyen is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans painting, site-specific installation, fashion, film, and cultural entrepreneurship. Her work explores light, transformation, memory, and the tension between tradition and change - expressed through rich material layering and contemporary reinterpretations. of Vietnamese heritage.
Educated in Vietnam and Ukraine, she holds a PhD in Fine Arts from the National Academy of Arts and Architecture in Kyiv. Her works have been exhibited and collected internationally, with major presentations at Château La Coste (France), Almine Rech (Paris, Monaco), Art Basel Hong Kong, and the (RED) Auction at Sotheby’s Miami.
She is also the founder of The Factory Contemporary Arts Centre - the first purpose-built space for contemporary art in Vietnam - and Thuy Design House, a fashion brand rooted in Vietnamese craft and identity. Her contributions have been recognized by Forbes Vietnam (Top 50 Most Influential Women, 2019) and Tatler Asia (Asia’s Most Influential, 2024).
