Normal Architecture Office (NAO) is a design practice for conceptual architecture, curating and urbanism.NAO's founder and chief designer is Srdjan Jovanovic Weiss, with Katherine Carl and E. Thaddeus Pawlowski as chief advisers.Srdjan Jovanovic Weiss is an architect and designer educated at Harvard University studying with Rem Koolhaas, Jacques Herzog and Richard Gluckman with design experiences from Herzog & de Meuron Architects in Basel, Gluckman Mayner Architects in New York and from collaborations with artists Jenny Holzer, Robert Wilson and Marjetica Potrc. Weiss is Assistant Professor atTyler School of Art_Architecture, Temple University and give lectures at Harvard andUniversity of Pennsylvania.Katherine Carl is an art historian and curator educated at Stony Brook University and Oberlin College with experiences from The Drawing Center, The DIA Center for the Arts, Artslink in New York and National Endowment for the Arts in Washington D.C.E.
