MR STUDIO Co., Ltd. is a design firm established in Japan in 2017. We aim to add exceptional value to spaces, buildings, and landscapes through innovative design and concept-making that reveals the potential needs and identity of each project. Our expertise spans a wide range of building types, including residential, office, hotel, commercial, educational, cultural, and industrial facilities. Additionally, our projects range from interior design to large-scale urban development.
The firm is led by Japanese architect Nobuaki Miyashita, the founder and CEO of MR STUDIO. A graduate of Tokyo University of Science, Miyashita gained early recognition through honors such as “10 Emerging Japanese Architects” by Casa BRUTUS and “10 to Watch” by Nikkei Architecture. His design work covers a broad spectrum of typologies, and he has received approximately 300 architecture and design awards worldwide—including the AIA International Design Awards, International Architecture Awards, Red Dot Design Award, iF Design Award, German Design Awards, and the A’ Design Award (Gold).
In recent years, Miyashita’s international recognition has been further solidified through his appointment as a jury member for prestigious global competitions such as the Global Architecture Design Awards (GADA) and the 4 Future Awards, underscoring his global influence as a leading architect from Japan.
