Michael Barclay Partnership was established in 1974 converting to a Limited Liability Partnership in 2007. Since its inception the practice has undertaken over 4000 commissions of great diversity for private and public sector clients. The range of work includes major new public buildings, mixed use urban developments and the adaptation of buildings of great historic importance. We emphasise this because it contributes to a challenging and dynamic culture within the practice and because we believe the knowledge and experience of different technologies and working practices across sectors is of value to our clients.
At the heart of the firm’s culture is a strong public service commitment and a belief that as engineers we can make a positive contribution to creating a more sustainable built environment. Our aim is to produce elegant, economic and sustainable engineering solutions to meet the needs of our clients.
It is our belief that the best results are achieved by close collaboration with the client, the design team and the contractor and we place a great emphasis on teamwork. These values and the quality of our service is, we believe, reflected in the large number of repeat commissions and the strong relationships we have developed with our professional colleagues.
