MCM+A is an Ecuadorian architecture studio led by Pablo Moreira, Yadhira Álvarez, Natalia Corral and Milton Chávez. Their practice is grounded in critical reflection, social commitment, and a sensitive attention to context, exploring architecture as a medium that weaves together memory, place, and the present time.
Their work spans projects of various scales and typologies, including housing, public and private facilities, as well as public space interventions across different regions of Ecuador. In Quito’s Historic Center, they have developed landmark projects such as the La Tola Complex (2019), Casa Santa Clara (2024), the restoration of the Hotel Colonial (2015), and the expansion of the City Museum (2013), among others.
