MAPT started in 2005. The two partners, Ander Lendager and Mads Møller, have both received the “Vola” award from the school of architecture in Århus. They have both achieved scholarship to SCI ARC, Southern Institute of Architecture, which has greatly influenced the way MAPT is working today.
The combination of the Danish dedication to details, the European understanding of program and function, and the American love for technology and design, creates a unique architecture.
The MAPT office has its base on Nørrebro in Copenhagen. We are proud to say that the office is constantly developing areas of business and architecture in Denmark. In 2007 MAPT got the award “Årets Arne”, young architecture office of the year.
Sustainability is an important design parameter for MAPT. The environment is a common responsibility, and the future is a challenge we embrace. Sustainability is architecture with a purpose; it’s not just a question about survival.
The meaning of sustainability contains several parameters. It can in general be everything from social sustainability to the challenges future presents. It can be explained as an ecosystem, with interacting elements making the big picture. The sustainable mindset is about visualizing the big picture, where all elements are contributing.
MAPT implements sustainability in all scales by using a great network of experts, developing a system that is tailored to all needs.
