Liminal Design Studio is based in Mumbai and Kolkata, India. We are a design studio built on the rich foundation of India and informed by the expanse of the world. An initiative led by architects Dhawal Jain and Sheemantini Paik, we are a culturally diverse team of young designers with an experience of working across India, United States and Africa. Our team consists of individuals from various parts of the world, who work closely with us and inform our design processes and end-products. We operate in the fields of architecture, interiors, graphics, products, urbanism and research. 'Liminal' means relating to a transitional stage of a process.
