CPLUS is an architecture firm with an international perspective, co-founded by Cheng Yanchun and Li Nan in Beijing in 2014.
CPLUS believes that architecture aims to create a medium for dialogue between people and the environment. As living organism that constantly changes over time, architecture responds to the history of human exploration of nature and the construction of cities. The firm hopes to explore the possibilities of future architecture by combining modern ways of expression and technology while inheriting the natural philosophy and traditional spatial wisdom of the East.
In the face of projects with different functions and scales, CPLUS always adheres to the concept that “rational design logic orients the sensibility and poetry of the architecture”, and uses precise design language to impart the building an elegant and pure artistic temperament.
Since its establishment, the firm has continued to diversify its development, breaking the fragmentation of different disciplines including planning, architecture, landscape and interior, and uniting structure, lighting, acoustics, and visual consulting teams with an open mind. CPLUS formulates strategies for each independent project through efficient interdisciplinary collaboration, and provides comprehensive and professional design solutions. The types of its practice involve areas such as culture, education, commercial offices, hospitality, cultural tourism, industrial parks, and residences.
CPLUS also concerned about contemporary art and social issues. and has participated in art activities related to urban renewal and rural revitalization, such as Beijing Design Week, Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale, and Wulong Lanba Art Festival.
