María Langarita is Ph.D. in architecture from the ETSA Madrid and she is a lecturer in Architectural Projects at ETSA Madrid. Víctor Navarro is Ph.D. in architecture from ETSA Madrid and he currently works as a lecturer in Architectural Projects at the Universidad Europea de Madrid and has been lecturer at Harvard Graduate School of Design in 2015.
They have worked together since 2005 in the architectural studio Langarita-Navarro. Their work has been recognized with the Special Mention of the Mies van der Rohe Award in 2013 as well as the award of the XII Spanish Biennal of Architecture and Urbanism, the FAD 2012 award, the AR+D Award for Emerging Architecture 2012 and the COAM 2013 award. Their career has also been honoured with the Young Architect of the Year 2014 award, and the AD Nuevos Valores 2013 award. Their work has appeared in various publications and has been chosen for the monograph of 2G magazine. Their work has been selected to be exhibited in different places and events, including the 6th Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism of Shenzhen 2015 and the XI Biennale di Venezia in 2014 and 2008. They have been the directors of XII BEAU - Universidad Menended Pelayo summer course and they were selected to be Jurors for the Santo Domingo Biennial.
