The Lab for Planning and Architecture (LPA) is a climate-centred practice operating across the fields of strategic planning, urban design and landscape architecture. It operates along the principles of ecological design and sustainable development, adapting these to the singularities of regions with warm and hot climates. The synthesis of natural and artificial systems (Lab), the production of urban strategies (Planning) and the design of spaces and landscapes (Architecture), define the unique approach of LPA to the construction of the built environment. LPA´s services are organized over three specialized divisions that underlie the whole process of urban development: LPA Strategy, LPA Design and LPA Construction. These three divisions are distributed between Madrid and the Canary Islands with the possibility of further locations wherever there is a construction site.
